Branding for Saint-Laurent Blvd. MAINLINE THEATRE

Home to the St-Ambroise Fringe Festival, Mainline Theatre is an affordable and friendly venue located in the heart of Montréal’s Plateau. Every performance is a personal, sometimes eccentric, gold mine of talent. It is ideal for up and coming artists as well as seasoned veterans of the stage and great for a drink with friends. Mainly for theatre, dance and special events, Mainline’s Mainstage is a versatile, multi-functional, black box theatre.

This said the refreshed take on the designed look for Mainline comes from a genuine and authentic hand felt and organic point of view. The goal is to allow the public to feel the theatre through the branding of the company. As the famously infamous theatrical slang calls: “BREAK A LEG!”. The Logo requires a handwritten font and now has a clear identity: it is a monument to the people whose lives reflect from hard work and involvement in the arts of the scene. Their personality is a reflection of depth and emotion with the human-relationship and cooperation of hand-made elements.

The elements presented in the Branding are as follow: The Personal and Event Stationery (shown above), the Primary Stationery (below), the Logo and a few applications using the later.
