Tim Hecker: Virgins
This project consisted of creating a music poster and an invitation card for an
assigned artist. While listening to Tim Hecker’s album over and over again to
get inspiration, I realized it was extremely contrasting between slow, calming
melodies and almost noise like chaotic sounds. This is why I decided to create
an airy design with a lot of negative space combined with abstract forms
that express a commotion or disturbance (his music has no lyrics, I found that
abstract forms were fitting for this reason).
