Kenzo Tange Carousel Book

A pre-press project in which a box set was created based on the work of the Japanese architect Kenzo Tange. The carousel book was designed in indesign with pre-press mock ups and die lines designed in illustrator. All images were used with permission of the photographers. The book is contained in a blind embossed box made of 100% cotton paper. Opened one way, the book is made of four images each presented in three layers. Opened the other, the book contains a three thousand word essay on the architect. The black bar used to keep the book closed contains a USB and there is a special DVD contained within the folds of the carousel.
