The Bad Plus — Made Possible
The main objective of the class was to find a unique way to visualize the sounds of a given group or artist. We were assigned to create a poster as well as an invite and newspaper ad. The following is my approach to the project.
The Bad Plus is an avant-garde jazz trio from Minneapolis comprised of drummer Dave King, pianist Ethan Iverson and bassist Reid Anderson. The band bases their songwriting techniques around both simple and complicated concepts such as breaking the rules of musical convention of by not designating any "leader".
