True Love Leaves No Traces

In some areas of Central America, specifically Guatemala, Hondouras, Jaurez and El Savador, women are brutally murdered, mutilated, dismembered and raped as a result of machismo. As a statement, these women are often wrapped in plastic and dumped on the side of the road or amongst dumpsites. About six thousand of sixty-six thousand acts of femicide worldwide occured in those nations in 2014. About two to six percent of these murders are ever investigated.
