The California Conservation Corps is a state agency that puts together young people and the environment, to the benefit of both. To improve California’s natural resources, to assist with emergency response: fighting fires, floods, earthquakes and pest infestations.
The challenge for new logo consisted of reflecting the affection and instinct in natural life and to enhance the concepts of protection and survival. The final result is a simple and comprehensible design based on positive and negative shapes that interlock to visually represent the concepts of family and protection. The new logo follows the geometry and the proportions of the previous one by creating a system of grids that permits the adaptation to different formats from print to multimedia.
