School project; To celebrate Canadas 150th birthday, in 2017, we were given the project to develop a new logo.
The inspiration behind my design stems from traditional birthday candles. I simply took the symbolic Canadian maple leaf, added a flamed tip, and some birthday candle stripes. To finish it off, I decided to go with an old school typeface, Garamond, to put emphasis Canadas age.
