Canada 150 Logo

Canada is celebrating its 150th birthday this year and the task was to create a logo for the event. As much as the maple leaf is a part of Canada, I wanted to be a little different from everyone else and shy away from the leaf, while still staying true to the iconic image. The Canadian goose is another great representation of our country. As a bird, it symbolizes freedom and perspective. The combination of both geese mimics a maple leaf. They are separated by tones of red, which symbolizes Canada's diversity and how well we blend to create the beautiful country we call home.
