Semester 3 - Creation of a fictitious company represented by the crane. The crane is the focus of traditional origami. In Japan, the crane is a mystical and holy creature and it symbolizes good fortune and longevity because of its fabled life span of a thousand years. Hane Paper is a Japanese paper store. Hane means “feather” in Japanese, which reflects that the company sells quality and delicate paper. The logo presents a crane made only with triangles, giving it a sense of folding. The text is written vertically to resemble Japanese writing.
