A poster designed for Hiss Tract’s Shortwave Nights concert at Metropolis in Montreal. The inspiration for the design is a musical canopy of ambient sounds, combined into a multilayered, droning and hypnotic sound.

This project involved the creation of an extensive and all-encompassing process book, including sketches, brainstorms and mood boards made intuitively while listening to the music and development to the final.

The final was created by distorting and layering a visual on Photoshop to create a shimmering wall (of sound) complete with noise and layered text. The printed result is a flat wall of texture that seems to hold depth and undulate as it is observed.
