Kite

This was a project for my Explorations in Logotype course. We were given a list of words and had to design a logo for each word. The logo that I had succeeded the most with was the kite. This was the first logo I had ever created. I had received a lot of praise for the look and wanting it to be different. This piece is the first piece that I had created in this program to be featured in the department hallway.
The piece was created solely in Adobe Illustrator after a few sketches.
The typeface is American Typewriter in light. The inspiration for the piece was to have the letter K link to the rest of the word, rather than the other way around.
