This project was in my Info graphics class, we were to document our life within the span of three months. These things were like what we ate, what we wore, music we listened to, transit and times, how long we slept for, homework, etc. While we were logging our information, we had to come up with concepts of how to represent so much information in charts.
The inspiration for the project was to incorporate hexagons. Originally it was triangles but it was difficult to have an order that was organic and not too static. All of the charts with the exclusion of one have one hundred shapes and are colour coordinated on their information. I wanted to have one hundred to make it precise and to truly represent it rather than just estimates. The colours had to be bright to show a greater contrast with a black and white background.
